Our GARLIC JALAPEÑO is one of the most-loved bottles we make at Stoke the Fire — and for good reason. Grown and crafted right here in Cawston, BC in the Similkameen Valley, this 3/5 heat sauce brings bright, garlicky warmth without blowing your head off. It's a go-everywhere, put-it-on-everything kind of sauce.
But we hear the same thing all the time: "I put it on wings… now what?" Here are five ways to get more out of every bottle.
1. Garlic Jalapeño Honey Glaze for Chicken
Mix 2 tbsp of Garlic Jalapeño Hot Sauce with 1 tbsp of our Hot Honey, a squeeze of fresh lemon, and a pinch of salt. Brush over bone-in chicken thighs and roast at 425°F for 35–40 minutes, basting once halfway through. The sugars caramelize, the garlic deepens, and the result is something that'll have everyone asking for the recipe. Alternatively, combine ¼ cup Garlic Jalapeño with 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sesame oil, and 1 tsp fresh ginger for a bold marinade — let chicken or pressed tofu sit overnight, then grill for serious char.
2. The Caesar Dressing You Didn't Know You Needed
Whisk together ¼ cup mayo, 1 tsp Dijon, 1 clove garlic (minced), juice of half a lemon, 2 tsp Worcestershire, 2 tsp Garlic Jalapeño Hot Sauce, and ¼ cup grated Parmesan. Toss with romaine and top with sourdough croutons. The sauce replaces the traditional anchovy-and-heat component — no fishy taste, just bold, layered depth. For a lighter option, whisk 2 tbsp Garlic Jalapeño with 3 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp honey, and a pinch of salt — perfect over roasted beet salad or anything with goat cheese and avocado.
3. Spicy Garlic Pasta (Two Ways, 15 Minutes)
For a weeknight emergency meal: melt 3 tbsp butter in a pan, add 3 cloves minced garlic, cook one minute, then add ¼ cup pasta water, 1 tbsp Garlic Jalapeño, and a handful of Parmesan. Toss with linguine or rigatoni and finish with fresh parsley. Or lean into the Italian classic — sauté garlic in olive oil until golden, add a generous pour of Garlic Jalapeño, toss with spaghetti and fresh parsley, finish with grated Parmesan. Simple, fast, and genuinely fire.
4. Spicy Garlic Hummus
Two routes here: blend one can of chickpeas with 2 tbsp tahini, 1 garlic clove, lemon juice, and 2–3 tbsp Garlic Jalapeño until smooth, adding water to reach your preferred consistency — or take store-bought hummus and drizzle it generously with Garlic Jalapeño, good olive oil, smoked paprika, and toasted pine nuts. Serve with warm pita. Either way, the bowl disappears fast.
5. Eggs — Every Single Morning
Scrambled, fried, poached, shakshuka — a few dashes of Garlic Jalapeño elevates any egg dish. The garlic adds savouriness without overpowering, and the jalapeño heat wakes everything up. Pair with sourdough toast and you're set. It's the simplest upgrade in the kitchen, and once you start, it's hard to stop.
